ATMOVA, a unique, copper-based energy and design concept, plans its market entry in 2009

The original idea of extracting energy from the environmental temperature of buildings was first presented to the public in November, 2007. Since then, the system was developed to be able to introduce to the market, and the market introduction was prepared under the new name of “ATMOVA.” The test installations with ATMOVA roof tiles successfully passed their tests. The on-going measurements show especially encouraging test results. The complete effectiveness level of building heating on the basis of ATMOVA systems is quite high, and brings promising market opportunities in combination with its design aspects which can reinforce many of the current and concrete demands.

ATMOVA offers architecturally promising roof and facade elements in an adjustable total system which integrates the roof and facade constructions in a seamless fashion. ATMOVA combines esthetics and modern heat extraction as renewable energy. The positive physical characteristics of the special copper alloy make it possible for ATMOVA to make energy from the environment available and to use a heat pump for heating buildings and water (for additional information about the functional capabilities of ATMOVA, please see www.atmova.ch).

The first official showing of ATMOVA will take place at the CEP (Clean Energy Power) exhibition, the international exhibition for renewable energy and passive housing, at the exhibition facilities of the new Stuttgart Congress Center, from  – 31. January 29 to January 31, 2009. The ATMOVA system will be presented to the public in Hall 9 on stand number B09.
