How it works

Thermal energy is collected from the ambient air, wind, and rain as well as any available solar radiation via the ATMOVA roof tiles or the façade and fed via the pipe system with its heat-transporting fluid to the heat pump. The heat pump converts this energy into usable heat for heating and the hot water supply that flows directly into a hot water storage tank and which can be used for immediate consumption. Excess heat can be stored in a “buffer store.” The control and regulation technology permits optimum use of the heat pump at all times and guarantees comfortable room conditions.

The combination of system components guarantees a high thermal efficiency , the so called COP (coefficient of performance of heat pumps) of > 3.5. The energy yield is over 500 W/m2. The lifetime of the system is very long thanks to the durable copper material. The high energy yield together with the long lifetime of the system guarantee the above-average economic benefit of the system.

ATMOVA supplies heat energy for heat pump heating with the roof tiles or the façades as heat collectors even with ambient temperatures of -20°C.
